As the UAP topic makes waves across media into the second half of 2024, the potential threats that these phenomena may pose continue to dominate the conversation. A critical aspect of this discussion includes health risks to the public and mechanisms of support for local and state emergency services.
Most recently, Dustin Slaughter of The UAP Register released a new article covering the Major Cities Chiefs Association UAP Reference Guide and the first responder recommendations published in the UAPMed 2023 white paper “Incorporating UAP Incidents into First Responder Policies, Procedures, and Protocols.”
“UAPMed recommends developing a uniform reporting process for anomalous incidents; a standardized data collection process that includes witness testimony, physical evidence, and electronic data; and first responder training exercises for UAP incidents at the local, state, and federal levels.”
